Vehicle Description

This engine came from a 2005 Cooper S.  The engine has the following perfomance enhancements:

• High lift cam
• 17% pully
• 550cc injectors
• Airtech intercooler
  Note – your car will need a remap after fitting to get the best out of these performance parts.

  During our reconditioning we have done replaced the following:

  • piston rings
  • big end bearings
  • supercharger service
  • new inlet and exhaust rocker arms
  • camchain
  • thermostat
  • waterpump
  • head gasket
  • sump gasket
  • crank seals (both sides)
  • dual mass flywheel
  • clutch
  • aux belt tensioner
  • aux belt

   

  We have not replaced the alternator or air con compressor and these are sold as seen – not guranteed.

  The core engine is guaranteed for 12 months or 12k miles on the following basis:

  1. The basic ‘bare’ engine is covered and includes the block, pistons, chain, head and supercharger
  2. the guarantee is only valid if fitted by a VAT registered professional mechanic with all the usual precaustions.
  3. the guarantee is only valid if the engine is ‘run in’ properly – this means not exceeding 4000 rpm for the first 500 miles followed by an oil change and filter change and then not exceeding 5000 rpm for the next 500 miles followed by an oil change.
